United States senators are elected for six year and representatives are elected to two year terms.  These elections take place in even numbered years and the senate positions are staggered.

 

Washington state senators are elected to four year terms and representatives are elected to two year terms.  These elections take place in even numbered years and the senate positions are staggered.
City officials and school board members are elected to four years terms with the exception of the Everett School Board whose members are elected to six year terms.  These elections take place in odd numbered years and the positions are staggered.
